Two stylists in Denver, Melissa and Tonya have teamed up with Melissa's husband, Jason, a videographer to create MoreThanHairTV on YouTube. It's a new channel to to promote healthy hair choices as a lifestyle, for women with naturally curly or kinky hair, as well as parents with children who have naturally curly or kinky hair. In addition, they are reaching out to non-profit organizations and haircare professionals who serve their communities. Often children of color who are in the syst, don't get proper hair care. MoreThanHairTV helps those service providers help the kids. The channel's goal is also to help multiracial adoptive families.
I'm really proud to know Melissa. (She's also my stylist).
