Stylist Melissa hooked me up yesterday. For free! They were shooting a commercial for Salon Bodhi, and she needed someone sitting in her chair.
Not sure why she chose me. Could be I was the first one on her list who said yes on such short notice. Being unemployed gives you so much flexibility. Or maybe she wanted to reward me for sending two more clients her way.
She said she likes doing my hair because it does what she tells it to do. I said it only does that for you, and only for the first day. Then it goes back to doing what it wants.
Since I was going to be on camera, I piled on the makeup and fretted over what to wear, but ended up covered in a bib anyway. I made my husband take my picture as soon as I got home.
Melissa used Design Essentials products on my hair: Moisture Retention Conditioning Shampoo, Colaura Color Care Conditioner and HCO Leave In Conditioner. She then used Compositions Foaming Wrap Lotion with Echinacea, parting my hair in small sections and combing it through. Voila! Curls. I sat under the dryer for 20 minutes and she spritzed my hair with Botanical Oils Hair & Body Moisturizer with Ginseng.
